Caring Support From Our Clinical Director
At the heart of our program is our Clinical Director Bill Arbuckle, who holds a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Adler University and is also a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) from British Columbia, who brings over 13 years of personal and professional experience with a range of issues; from substance-use to anxiety to depression to trauma-processing.
Bill champions emotional regulation and awareness, and effective communication and offers both in individual and group settings. "We understand that each person has their own journey, and while no journey is the same, no journey is without hardships. Even when things start to change a little, it doesn’t mean the pain is instantly gone. The pain of our past, the pain of dealing with our anxieties and our day-to-day lives, and the pain of trying to live the future we want for ourselves."
His intimate understanding of the needs and experiences of our clients stems from his own recovery journey, providing a unique perspective and deep empathy that informs our approach. Equipped with additional training in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Bill is dedicated to guiding clients toward lasting transformation.
